What is a college minor?
A college minor is an area of study that can complement your major. Most minors are 18 credits, though credit requirements may vary depending on your chosen program. Earning a minor can give you an edge in competitive industries by allowing you to develop additional skill sets. Arizona State University offers more than 30 minor programs online.
College minor requirements
Students can only apply to a minor in combination with an existing undergraduate degree program. Please speak with your academic advisor to ensure a minor is applicable with your undergraduate degree and an appropriate set of courses is taken.
Certain major degree and minor combinations may be deemed inappropriate either by the college or department of the major or minor. Courses taken as part of a minor may not count toward both the major degree and the minor.
